November 16, 2022 Swansboro, CA
Op-ed*
Those attending the November 2022 SCPOA meeting were met by a dark, cold, windy and uncomfortable location (the Dyer Lake pavilion). The attempt made for heating did not help much. Few people attended.

Checking our Bylaws revealed “Regular meeting of the Board of Directors shall be monthly at a place within the Development or at the Mosquito Firehouse…”

The Firehouse is most certainly available. We shall always maintain an open door for SCPOA members and leadership.
Fire Chief Jack Rosevear
Question: Why is the Board meeting in such an inhospitable place when the Mosquito Firehouse is available?
