There is still time to make plans to attend the Fire Department Fundraiser is today. It is scheduled Nov. 19, 4 – 7 PM. Below is a repost from a MFPD social media Facebook post
“The Swansboro Pilots Association in partnership with the Mosquito Station 75 Firefighters and community members will be hosting a fundraiser in order to raise the funds required to replace the equipment needed to hold future fundraisers for the department. Free BBQ chicken dinner with sides thanks to the assistance of the amazing Bad Boyz of BBQ as well as refreshments.
Please come by anytime between 4 and 7, have some delicious food, socialize with your neighbors, the firefighters and see what equipment is needed and what you can donate towards.
All equipment purchased will become part of the station 75 inventory and a tax donation can be issued if you would like one. The equipment will be used for community breakfasts and other fundraising events to raise money for the station starting after the Holidays. If you’re unable to attend the event you can also drop by the station to make a donation.”
