On behalf of the Swansboro Sentinel, I wish everyone in our association a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year. May the holiday season bring you special moments and happy memories.
The annual SCPOA election season also begins this month. I invite all candidates running for a position on the SCPOA board to this annual Meet & Greet on December 9th at the Mosquito Fire Station beginning at 6:30 PM. Come and meet the candidates for the 2023 SCPOA Board of Directors election in an informal and friendly setting. Ask them where they stand on the issues affecting our community and property, and where our dues are being spent. They will have a few minutes to introduce themselves and take a few questions from attendees. That will be followed by refreshments and one-on-one conversations.
Don’t forget, the SCPOA election will be held and votes will be counted at the Annual Membership meeting on February 25, 2023. You will be receiving your ballot sometime after December 1, 2022. Please review the facts and vote.
These four candidates provided a short video message why they want to serve on the SCPOA board.
This is an important election because of all the higher unbudgeted expenses that the board incurred over the past two years. This is a departure from normal spending patterns of all previous SCPOA boards. This is your chance to make your voices heard. A moderator will maintain order. See you there.
– Please attendance is limited to SCPOA members –
