If you are considered not voting in this election, reconsider. Because this time the outcome will affect your pocketbook. YOUR VOTE REALLY MATTERS MORE THAN EVER. Stop the reckless and irresponsible spending already openly planned by the incumbents candidates. It is your dues money they plan to spend on unneeded amenities. They’ve proposed to spend Association’s money on their pet projects. In the meantime, our existing assets deteriorate. Such as our roads, common areas and even our playground. They just are not listening to what we members want.
The community building project is an example. It has turned into an expensive boondoggle. It is far over the optimistic $50K initial estimate and rising at every update. Many questions remain unanswered. But one thing is for sure. Your dues will increase as a result of this project. The permit remains elusive. Yet, more than $20K of unrecoverable money has already been spent. Stop this waste. You can do it with your vote.
